We are entering the age of technology that has never been seen before. The rise of AI and quadam computers might solve mankind’s problems. However, we humans will make new problems for AI to solve because that’s what we are good at. What will the future bring us? Will these advancements bring us a better quality of life? Or end it? Only time with tell what’s in store for mankind. The world is changing at an accelerated rate. AI will think of things we never thought possible and solve issues we didn’t know we had.
These advancements have made it easier for bad actors to create code to invade our lives. Any ten-year-old can launch malware to bring down the school systems network soon with the right code. However, cybersecurity professionals will have to use AI to defend against bad AI. So, the war starts.
Is your TV listing to you? Unless you’re an international criminal, probably not. Is it possible? Yes!! Maybe we need to unplug things now and then. We know that hackers have found a way to listen in on TV remote controller’s microphone. You might not know that it’s possible to now listen in using your printer. It’s truly a 1984 world for governments to use for good or bad intentions.
Can we escape technology from spying on us? You would need to leave all things behind and live off the grid to achieve that. Something you might not find comfortable unless you’re a monk. Technology has grown up with us. It’s our friend when used properly. Think of all the things that we rely on daily that technology makes possible.
From what I have been hearing from the technology industry, we are going to advance faster than ever before with AI. It won’t be long until a house is smart enough to recognize an intruder and neutralize the criminal before you ever get home. I think I’ll name my AI house manager “Jarvis”.
