In 2006, David faced the challenging role of a single parent after losing his spouse, with two wonderful children to support. Realizing that the automotive industry wouldn’t provide the flexibility he needed, he made a life-changing decision. In 2007, he embarked on a journey to pursue a Computer Science Degree in college. During this time, David also joined an IT consultant company based in London, CA, which further fueled his passion for technology.

In 2012, David decided to take a leap of faith and fully commit to building his own brand, DAVE THE NERD GUY (DTNG). Balancing business and education, he also enrolled at Eastern MI University to continue his learning and earned multiple certifications in the IT field. Additionally, David actively attends cybersecurity conferences to stay ahead of emerging threats.
